I have answered some comments in the last days, but I still have many comments left, please excuse the delay and I will answer them as soon as possible.
Last Saturday I bought a new camera, a Canon EOS 40D with 17-85 IS USM lens. My old Canon EOS 400D(Digital Rebel XTi) is an entry-level camera and my new EOS 40D is an semi-professional single-lens reflex camera.
That's my new baby:



I still have my Canon EOS 400D, certainly I will sell it and if not, then I will keep it as backup camera. I will use the EF-S 55-250 IS zoom lens for my new camera, it works good together.

If somebody is interested in my Canon EOS 400D [link] and would like to buy it, just send me a note for more informations.
The camera is in very good condition like from the store. You would get the camera body, the kit lens EF-S 18-55mm, a second battery pack, a 2GB Compact Flash high speed memory card, a 512MB Compact Flash memory card and a camera bag. For sure you would get all the standard things like battery charger, USB-cable, camera strap and everything in original packing with Canon papers.

Today we have 11th September, it's my 3rd deviantArt birthday. My really good friend *LeniR talked me into join deviantArt in September 2005. At first I wasn't sure because I thought my photos aren't good enough, but she liked my photos and then I joined deviantArt. *LeniR and *DianaKennedy was my first dA friends, I have original artwork and books from these artists at home, please check out their galleries.
I think I have improved my photography in the last three years, although I'm not pleased with the present results. Here are three of my first deviations, I took them with a cheap and borrowed digital camera:



The first two photos have the date in the pic, I made such mistakes at that time and later I removed it for sure. In the 1st and 3rd photo you can see the river Elbe, a place I really love and you can see the river in some of my new photos. I took the 2nd photo in the park Planten & Blomen in Hamburg and in 2008 I was the first time again there to take some photos.



Usually I took photos alone, but in July 2008 Fia Lagerdahl visited me and I took the first time photos together with somebody. In the 1st photo you can see Fia, I took these photo of *Dirzha in the park Planten & Blomen in Hamburg. The 2nd pic is my last deviation, I tried out a new idea and I will re-take the photo with strawberries in the next time, because I'm not pleased with the result. The 3rd photo shows a butterfly, I took the photo in the butterfly garden in Friedrichsruh, when I have visited the location with *Dirzha in July.

Today is a burial at the Arlington National Cemetery near Washington, D.C. Private James W. Turner, a U.S. Army soldier get a grave after 64 years. The soldier was killed in action in 1944 near the Hürtgen Forest in Germany and missed. A German guy found his bones in 2005, luckily the soldiers dog tag was not stolen from a relict hunter and the American soldier could be identified. Here [link] can you read the story.
Now he can rest in peace and the family has a grave.

Otherwise I have no news, it's a hard time and I don't feel well in the last weeks because private reasons.

I'm nearly done to clear my gallery and in some days it should be ready. I have a new photo idea with waterdrops, I just need better lighting and then I will try to take the photo.
Today we have the 31st August and the day has a special meaning for me. Exact 15 years ago I had a accident, I spent a long time in the hospital and I had to learn to walk again. Everything was hopeless for me at that time and I was wrong. The day changed my life.

In the last days I made decisions and now I rethought some of them, because some was to fast.
The day before yesterday I moved all my deviations to the scraps and now I work on these photos. Some photos I will let in the scraps, some I will move back to my gallery. Some keywords need changes and on other ones I will add something to the artist comment.
I still have no photo ideas, but maybe I get some in the next days and then I can upload new photos.
